The Partnership between the Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs (FICTS) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC), together with the Information Management Department have foreseen particular ways of collaboration, in order to realize common types of projects and initiatives, which are meant to increase the promotion of the Olympic Values. This goal is possible through the enhancement and the diffusion of the huge property of both images and videos of the Olympic Movement, provided by FICTS activities, which will be promoted by IOC Departments.

The FICTS will work for the promotion and diffusion of the Olympic Values and of the culture of sports disciplines, organizing its events in which the audience will be able to be attended at for free.

Stated in advance that the IOC materials belong to all human beings, the main way to present them are the International Festivals of the World FICTS Challenge; during these important exhibitions, several images are shown and every year a particular argument is chosen as regards the Olympic Section.

According to this way of organizing its events, FICTS ensures the free annual registration for all the

members of the IOC and for the representatives of both National Olympic Committees and of the Sports Federations which want to take part in the Festivals.

The FICTS answers for the requirements of both the internal (sponsor, producers) and external (Festival organizers, movie directors) request of the IOC. These needs express the values of the Olympic spirit through the promotion of the CIO/OTAB video review, which is assigned to the FICTS producers and associates. This important collection of video materials offers all the participants of “SPORT MOVIES & TV” the chance of using the videos for non-commercial aims, also as those belonging to IOC.

The IOC supports and allows its patronage to the federal activities as regards the “SPORT MOVIES & TV” and to the International circuit of the “World FICTS Challenge”. The Sponsorship of IOC also refers to the financial needs regarding the different stages of the circuit itself and as to the institutional activities and organizes a final price for the winner of the “Olympic Spirit” section. Besides, the IOC proposes in that occasion a movie which has recently been shot and which is to be shown during the final part of the review.
