Beijing will hold the “2^nd Beijing International FICTS Festival” from the 8^th to the 14^th of August. The event is organized by FICTS and by BODA (Beijing Olympic City Development Promotion Association) whose V. President is Prof. Jiang Xiaoyu, member of the International FICTS Festival Standing Committee, in collaboration with China Central Newsreel and Documentary Film Studio, Chinese National Television C.C.T.V. (China Central Television)’s film-documentary Center.

The Opening Ceremony will take place on August the 8^th , the day in which the 2008 Olympic Games was opened. The FICTS President Prof. Ascani will attend to the International Forum with topic “Olympics through the visual Image” and he will participate with a report about the educational and formative role of the youth in the point of view of the Olympic Movement to the light of the new technological choices for the communication.
